The Badass Bash is southwest Florida's most awesome, most badass obstacle and mud race. Prepare to get dirty, ready yourself for challenges, and most of all, expect to feel like a badass.

IS the bash JUST A RACE?

We don't like the word "race" around these parts. The Badass Bash is a BATTLE to reach your inner badass. We know it's in there. You do too.

So I "battle" and then just go home?

Oh hell no. The Badass Bash is a full-on party with music, beer, contests, and lots of opportunities to purchase some super badass stuff. It's a huge event so come ready to party.

How physically fit should I be to participate?

Anyone can participate in the Badass Bash. We love one and all, but do encourage you to physically train (run, push ups, sit ups, etc), drink your milk for strong bones, and eat your veggies like mama told ya. Basically, no matter where you are in your athleticism, come join us. We promise, it's going to be a swell time.

What should I expect from the race?

Expect the most badass mud and obstacle race you've ever seen. There will be challenges, yes, but this race is designed to maximize your badass potential and leave you feeling confident and proud of yourself. Know this: there's always risk involved in any outdoor running event. Thankfully, since this race is designed by official badass firefighters, law enforcement officers, and special forces members, we take every precaution possible to get you to the finish line safely. An ambulance and paramedics will be on site if needed, but you enter the Badass Bash at your own risk. Plus you sign the Badass waiver.

What sort of obstacles are in the race?

If you've done other obstacle races, consider those a warm-up for the Badass bash. If you've never participated in an obstacle race, no worries...this will be the one you compare others to. We will have obstacles inspired by our heroes: firefighters, law enforcement, and the United States military. For the Badass Snowball Bash, we're taking our already badass obstacles and adding a holiday twist.

So uh, is this one of those costume type races?

Sure! We're into costumes and as long as you wouldn't be arrested for obscenity, feel free to wear it. Please keep in mind that we there will be lots of super cool kids participating in the "Kick Butt Kids Bash".

Can we compete as teams?

Yes mam/sir. Team work is an integral value of all Firefighters, law enforcement officers, and the U.S. military. Check out our registration page if you'd like to register a team. Even if you don't compete on a team, be prepared to make friends with your fellow man...you may need his help in some of the obstacles.

What about awards and timing?

Remember, the Badass Bash isn't a race, it's the mother of all battles. Participating and proving your inner badass is a huge award and means different things to different people. Therefore, we only offer one timed wave. The Bash Cash Competitive Wave is an individual wave where each top male and female will receive a monetary prize. Click here for info on the competitive wave.

do i get any swagger?

Each participant will receive a t-shirt, medal, 1 free, well-earned beer, water, and the title of BADASS.

Funny you asked....head here to register for the Badass Bash.

Can I register for more than one wave?

You sure can. After you've registered for your first wave, drop us an email at info@badassbash.com and we'll hook you up for your second wave at half price.

I registered for the badass bash but can't make it. Can I get a refund or transfer my spot?

Whaaaa? That's sad and we hate to miss you. Unfortunately, we cannot give refunds under any circumstances. Registrations are transferable for a $20 fee and can be done at the registration page. Transfers for the Badass Snowball Bash will not be available under any circumstances after 12/08/13. Sorry Charlies.

Can I change my wave time after I've registered?

Yep, but it'll cost you ten bones ($10). You may transfer your wave time at the registration page here.

When is the last day I can register?

Registration for the Badass Snowball Bash closes on 12/08/13 at 11:59:59 PM or 23:59:59 Hours. You will also have the option of registering at early packet pick-up or on Bash day for $100.

How can I manage my team?

Once your entire team has registered, you can log onto my events at active.com, where you can edit your team, send emails to them, and view current members. Make sure to click "manage my team".

I accidentally deleted my confirmation email. What do I do?

No worries. You can always log onto active.com to view your confirmation email.

How old do I have to be to register?

Anyone between the ages of sixteen and 116 can register for the Badass Bash. If you are under the age of 18 on the event day, your parent or guardian must be with you in order to pick up your packet and sign your waiver. If you are over the age of 116 on race day...uh, you're a BADASS and can participate for free.

Is there a special price for badass firefighters, law enforcement officers, and military veterans?

You bet. We love to thank and honor those who put there lives on the line to protect us on a daily basis. If you fall into this badass category, please select ""BADASS Military Veteran, Firefighter, or Law Enforcement" when you register for your selected wave to receive your discount. Be sure to bring your official ID on event day for verification.

Uh oh, I forgot my official ID and it's event day.

Rats. Be sure to check and double check that you have your official ID on the day of the Badass Bash so that we can honor and thank you properly. If you fail to bring your official ID, you may unfortunately be charged more dough $$ at packet pick-up time.

I read you give 5% of each registration fee to some pretty awesome badass charities. Where can I learn more?

True Story. With each registration fee, 5% is donated to Children of the Fallen Soliders Relief Fund, The Will Adorno Trust and our Law enforcement charity (coming soon). We are beyond honored to give to these amazing charities that give back so much to our badass heroes. We are especially thrilled that each and every donation will remain with our local heroes in the state of Florida. If you would like to learn more or donate to these wonderful charities, be sure to visit the links above.

What's this I hear about 100% of the proceeds of the "Kick Butt kids bash" going to charity?

Once again, true story! The Badass Bash is thrilled to donate 100% of the proceeds from the "Kick Dirt Kid's Bash" to the southwest Florida organization, Caleb's Crussade. Dedicated to helping families and children affected by pediatric cancers, Caleb's Crussade is an invaluable support system within the southwest Florida area. Learn more about Caleb's Crussade and their super sweet running team here. We heart them a lot...in a totally badass kind of way.
